HBC and an AC pump for a 2litre

Evening folks, as we now seem to be in the depths of mid winter we will have a heat wave any day now and I want to find another HBC that works, mine keeps sending a 57 fault when checked. I realise that this is a climate control standard. On the AC compressor front does anybody know if the 12 valve pump is interchangeable with the 16 valve pump on the 2.0 and 2.3? Anybody have a spare that works? Ta!
