Can I buy the bit that the interior mirror mounts to from Ford ?
Its a dimming mirror, but the metal bit that sticks on the screen the mirror slides onto is missing.

Den... if you do go prepared!. I tried to get one off yesterday and it is stuck like 'the proverbial to a blanket'!!. If it was at home I guess a little warmth from a hairdryer or similar may help but a thin bladed knife or a screwdriver made no impression whatsoever.

Will order one from there, at least it will have the correct glue with it.

When you get the mount, call into a local windscreen repairer and ask them to fit it for you. I actually had one on my old red S reg that fell off! I called into the local autoglass and the chap fitted it for me for athe price of a pint
I always find that sticking any mirror yourself will only end in tears (and a mirroron the floor!!)_
