Well, finally got round to having a proper look at my washer jets today - could no longer put up with the pathetic dribble coming from them.
Traced the problem to a clogged filter in the screen washer tank located behind the drivers side headlight - you can access it through the foglight / indicator aperture in the front bumper - fiddly but it can be done. Remove the washer pump and filter and clean it and then replace.
One washer jet was found to be completely clogged - they are still available from Ford @ about £12 each + VAT for heated ones so I took the plunge - should be in tomorrow.

All I have to do now is work out how to get the old one out  Huh

The old ones are easy enough to push out from beneath the bonnet. There is a springed plastic clip that you need to push and the jet just pushes out. Don't forget to unplug the electrical connectors!!

Fitted my new washer jet today, old one was a bit stubborn to remove - found it needed a flat bladed screwdriver about 8" - 10" long to get enough leverage to ease up the plastic spring clip from under the bonnet.
Works a treat now  Grin
