Facelift headlight

Wanted 1 passenger side facelift headlight without big stone chip like mine has at present. Undecided
On a budget so can't pay a fortune for it Roll Eyes
Plus does anyone know how easy/difficult they are  to change? My level of competence is low!

The removal is simple and it is detailed HERE.  There are THREE bolts which hold the entire unit in. Two are easily seen BUT the third one is tucked behind the side light/indicator unit and you need to remove that and use a long extension to access the bolt.  Smiley

I think the lens is the same on the pre face lift lamp.The scrappys have a few at the moment,just change the glass.

The lenses aren't the same. The facelift one has the black inards while the prefacelift has the chrome one. You can of course cut out the inner bits and with a bit of mastic, magic a complete one!

HI i have both sides on ebay including aload of other bits if thats any help, all are in good order, you can just swap the glass and plastic black inner over with the whole headlight still in the car thats what i did to convert mine to facelift look. 5 min job

Thanks Dazzer. Unfortunately I’ve done the job now. I purchased a headlight for £9.99. After much cursing I managed to remove the glass. When I removed the glass from the one I was changing it cracked and fell in half! Thank goodness it was the one with the stone chip I thought!
I mastic’d the ‘new’ glass back in and so far so good. Thanks for all the help everyone.
