Driver's Door

Required for 1997 Scorpio estate. Ideally I need a dark blue (Petrol Blue) one with the door lights (red warning and white puddle), and with trim to match my blue velour upholstery. Obviously matching all these requirements might not be possible, but I need the door to be in good condition as funds are limited and I could not afford to pay for any repairs. Hopefully. Roger.

im not sure wherein the country you are , but there is a bloke in hornchurch essex , he goes under the name "spikes scorpios" all he does is scorpios , you could give him a try , he often sells stuff on ebay so if you cant find a number for him , type ford scorpio in ebay and his name will pop up and he is pretty reasonable price wise

Thanks Rich. I tried Spikie. He has complete doors for £35 - very cheap - and had the one I wanted. However, it was under a load of other doors, and when he extracted it from the heap it had been badly damaged. All this over the 'phone. He had different colours, but I have been quoted £200 for spraying to the correct colour, so I'm not going that way!! Anyway, he must be 150+ miles away! Pity though. Regards. Roger.

I got my only negative feedback ever off Spikie.... I don't think he has ever left good feedback for someone he has bought a car from! He was an OK bloke though in his own way, and I really didn't know the car I sold him had a dodgy head gasket. Oh well....... at least I never retaliated! Baz
