Pretty hard to find part in good condition. Ebay Item number: 360115919730 is listed as being for a 2.0 Galaxy but it looks like the 2.3 Scorpio part. Maybe incorrectly listed ? Worth a look. Good luck.

hi ken that indeed is the 2.3 GALAXY manifold. it's the same as the SCORPIO one, bar it needs 'furnished' with the brass ware off your old manifold. also the egr pipework is different. it's an easy enough swap over of the parts. most parts press in or glued in. hth

Hi thanks for your advice I hope I get lucky but I am curious as to what happened to the original brass threaded bush when I exchanged the sender units, I can only assume its still there and that when I tightened it up it just kept revolving inside the plastic manifold, hence the need for plastic metal. Checked around the area this morning after the thermostat had opened and it is bone dry but it is a worry On monday the car is going in for sill replacement and respray and then when I can afford it the wheel arches will have to be replaced, although there not to bad at the moment I know what you are thinking and that is I should have seen to the inlet manifold before now but I will be perfectly honest and say i ha ve only just recently smelt the coffee. 5stud, it would seem you are right about the manifold. I've checked 'Parkers' & they don't list a Galaxy 2.0 16V, only an 8V, so obviously the ebay listing isn't for a 2.0 Galaxy manifold The manifold is obviously for a 2.3 16V Galaxy ....seller is obviously confused as to which vehicle he took it from Anyway, I'm gonna make him an offer & see if he accepts
