These are a bit hard to get in Finland, does anyone have a new set of rear discs with pads for the Scorpio 24V (disc diameter 273mm) lying around? Or know of a good shop that may send "abroad" (I am looking mainly for economical alternatives). Thanks!

I'm *sure* I have a new set of rear discs and pads (Mintex) - I shall check the part numbers on the box when I get home and post back this evening.

| They actually sent to me once, I can check if they're willing to do it again. For them it's just up to calling TNT to get a quote and just charge it, for UK they have flat rates. There are some on ebay too, I wait for shipping quotes from them.

there are 2 sets of pad listed for the rears 1 set at £16.34 +VAT and the others at £24.58 + VAT, from memory I think my 24v uses the more expensive ones so make sure you get the right ones if they are being shipped over that distance

It turns out my -95 24V has 253mm discs rear. The other brake parts are also perfectly matched for this size, so I believe it's original/intentional. I always thought parts sellers were having misleading specs, but now it turns out 253mm discs are not a joke on the 24V. Still, there is a 278mm set in front. Will try some bargain hunting, but the 253mm discs are on many Ford models and the local dealers have it.

Be careful - i think the 278 rears are solid and the 253 are vented - hence not some common (fitment was only to granada / scorpio estates IIRC)

| Yes, got me a set of vented discs all around, 24mm thick at the front and 20mm at the rear. Atleast they were marketed as vented, alhough I've seen solid ones too being sold for some other models (bought from here www.estrol.de via ebay). 273mm rear are also vented, thickness is the same (those few sellers who had them, sold only vented ones). Pads for the rear I need to get locally, as there may be two confusing sets being sold and I want to be able to return/exchange possible wrong ones.
