12v Auto box

Does anyone have an A4LDe (note the lower case e) auto box in good condition and not a thousand miles away from cambridgeshire that won't cost me the earth, moon, sky and my right arm? Have seen one or two on ebay but they are always so d**n far away and if it's not collection only it's double the price to have it delivered. I'm desperate to keep hold of this car but I know sooner or later I'm looking at a repair bill that will most likely result in another trip to the scrappy, and I don't want to do that. Cheers, Mark

Yes but as per my other post re 12v boxes, I conclude that pre 02/95 boxes need a few wires cutting and splicing. If that's all that's needed then fine I'll give it a go. BTW, your last link is for a 24v box (A4LDE) which I don't think will work in a 12v. Thanks, Mark
