My wife's 2.3 Ultima has a battery cover, but it is missing the screw/bolt that keeps it in place. Does anybody have a spare screw bolt? If not I'm willing to buy a complete new cover with the bolt/screw. Cheers, Mondeoman

Part of my concern is that water will penetrate the whole and find it's way to where I don't want it to be

Depends which one you mean!! I have had 6 scorpios in all. All of them facelift cars, however the one I had for the longest time was S29COS which was my S reg Cosworth with all manner of extras and additions including gas conversion. The car took us all over Europe but failed one time in France and to be honest, was never right again afterwards. The final straw was the engine popped a core plug and the hose from the thermostat through the cylinder heads burst and Ford just don't make them anymore. I have my own business and need a reliable car to take me to customers sites from Perth to Exeter and so I scrapped it and bought my S Class Merc..... There are many pictures of S29COS on here if you care to look!! Baz
