Hi I need a 12 spoke 16" with tyre if possible, my car is fitted out with these but I need it as a spare, the spare one I have at present is a 15" old type. Cheers Kenboy

Kenboy. Is your spare a steel rim ? I use these on the funeral cars with easy clean trims. There are a few 12 spokes here, you could have one with a legal tyre for a spare,it may be a tad scabby but refurbishable.Where do you reside ?.We could do a swap not forgetting carriage ! GOZZ.

Kenboy. I don't get over your way much these days, however the wheel could go on DHL,you can have it for £20,and if you send me your old rim we could pay each others carriage, about £9 odd,if your tyre is nacked you could just send the rim.The 12 spoke has a good legal Michelin on it,but has a couple of inches of scab on one of the spokes, not much of a problem to square up.Keep me posted,we could do something after the Yuletide smoke has settled. GOZZ.

| What about the estate ? I have 225/50 x 16 wellies. Been thinking about getting an extra 12-spoke alloy as a spare as I have the steel wheel with 195/65 x 16 tyre which I guess must now be as old as the car so would not be too happy about using it anyway. Appreciate any info. Thanks.

| Matt. The standard steels don't actually fit flush either,a hump under the carpet is always evident, though of course the 12 spoke is considerably wider, but they both have a similar diameter. GOZZ.

I have a friend (not on internet) who has a M reg 2.0 estate, he has a 12 spoke with a 225 x 50 tyre as his spare and it doesn't protrude above the well
