Headlamp Washer

I would like to take a nice non-leaking headlamp washer off of someone.   There is no point in me buying a leaking one, I already have one of those!   For the Off-Side, and with the top intact because I think mine is goosed!   Price plus postage of course.   I'm North Scotland.

Thanks, Peter.

Mines a bit of a funny b****r!   It was registered on August 1st 1998, but it doesn't have the late lamps front and rear, it does seem to have the later ABS module.   I suspect it sat in a showroom for a long time.   Whats the difference if any in the headlamp washers?

It's the caps on the top that are different as they follow the line of the bumper moulding. IIRC there are certainly two if not three shapes  Huh.

Blast!   I need the cap as well because my cap has snapped one of the bitties that hold it on.   Worth trying Ford dealer?

By all means try BUT I think you will find that these parts are rarer than hens' teeth. Wink

Well I have some good news and bad news regarding headlamp washer units, depending on what you have!

I struggled recently to get a passenger side headlamp washer for my wife's 2.3 Ultima. This was the early facelift version which you will not be able to get from Fords.

If you are after a headlamp washer from either pre facelift or the later face lift version you should still be able to get them from Ford. They are approx £85 each!

You need to find our which version you have by looking at the shape of the cover as Simmo is correct their are three different version available!

I have a late facelift model Ultima Cosworth and I have just had to replace the front bumper with one which I found on Ebay. The bumpers look identical in every way except for the openings containing the washers. The washer caps on my original bumper were sort of square with one corner cut off and a diagonal fold or crease.  The caps on the replacement (there is one missing)are more square, with the crease running horizontally. I need a nearside cap of the second variety if anyone has one.
