Most scorpio's are around the same mileage, and unless the cat was replaced shortly before the donor was scrapped, there's no way to be sure it works the next MOT, or even this one. Mine was motted in Germany in March 2008, and failed because of bad cats December 2008, 110K miles on the clock. And fitting a new is the same trouble as fitting an old I would suggest a new one for around £100. There's plenty on ebay, or check www.buypartsby.com
