Morning gents, seems like my aircon pump for a 2.3 ultima has packed up, just pulled up and could smelll burning, can actuelly see what looked like flames inside pump, anybody got one please Im in london

Hi Think carefully should you consider fitting a used replacement one, remember it is likely it will be off a high mileage car, which is probably nearing the end of its working life as I myself have experienced with my car and when you consider the cost of fitting and re gas and then perhaps having to do the same again, is it realy worth it? I know new, they are an expensive item (£280.00) my advice is either to bite the bullet and get new, or remove relay No 24 from fuse box (Passenger Side) and do without, the choice is yours. Good Luck
