Does anyone know where I can get one of these? Ford have discontinued them and mine looks like a mixture of copper wire and dust. Car does not run any more and I would like to get it sorted if I can. Thnx Ken

Hello all, I have been trying to find a Fuel shut off loom for my 1997 Scorp. hlippo was kind enough to point me in the direction of Ford Parts UK but in spite of advertising the part as in stock they have none. Now I know and you know that Ford discontinued them a while back but does anyone know where I can find one?

If you can find a used one that's in fairly good shape,it's not a rocket scientist's job to take it apart and rebind it,several of us have had good results that way. GOZZ.

I'm happy to do some refurbishment on a half decent loom. The problem I have is that I haven't been able to find one anywhere. Does anybody know of one for sale. I have had a sniff from ScorpioWorld on here so I'm going to check that out. Any others would be welcomed as a backup. Thanks Ken

FWIW I soldered in new wires on mine then sleeved overall with fibreglass based (I think) heatproof sleeving. Not that it was causing any problem 'cept after reading about it on here, twas pretty ghastly though albeit had been bound up in fabric insulation tape (someone had been concientious!)
