Andy.
All hubs are the same on all Scorps, they are still available from Henry, though the price has of course risen, circa £130 !!,unfortunately the hub is the first part to be attacked by a failed bearing, the hub carrier into which the bearings fit is next. This part does differ in as much as the Cossie has bigger brake discs, therefore the caliper lugs are longer.Easiest way is to find a breaker with sound bearings, and change the hub and carrier over.

Thanks Gozz I am in a catch 22 here as the bearing has collapsed and think it best to replace the whole lot as I need the car on the road but because a woman hit me cracking my bumper my insurance class the car as a write off but keep loosing the paperwork so can't tell me if I can buy the car back.
The last thing I heard from the insurance via the AA yesterday is the insurance company want me to pay a extra premium before they will even look at the claim which is blackmail.

I would have thought that would be illegal, have you sought legal advice ?

Not yet Rodders as the AA didn't tell me till late yesterday afternoon and the insurance company is closed now till Monday. I think I shall have to join the csma again and get their motoring solicitors onto it.

Yes Mike written off as a cat c for a cracked front bumper and a broken headlight lens.
They now say the car is worth £600 and have put my excess upto £600 meaning they don't have to pay me a penny and they can take the car.

What is the point in having insurance if they won't honour their written promises?

I would have thought that you would have to accept their offer for them to take the car. Tell them to sod off Lips Sealed.
