CC unit wanted as all the illumination has gone on mine, changed 3 bulbs ...nothing.
Only lights up on the aircon and circ buttons. Putting it down to faulty unit.
Need the unit with the extra hole for heated windscreen...

Thank you..

Hi, Just to confirm, it's not the front panel you need but the unit behind, if so I have one.  Cheers  Lee

Thanks for the reply Lee.  I thought i would have to buy the whole unit, because as i said only the aircon and circ buttons are lit. Before i changed the bulbs, the only other part that was lit was the right hand side of the unit, the red/blue adjuster and window above and nothing around the control knobs at all. Changed the bulbs and nothing lit apart from 2 a/c buttons.. Huh
cheers patrick

Kev, A bit of friendly advice. Just to let you know, we don't jump on other peoples posts and offer parts when they have already been offered by someone else, namely me (second post down). It's not the done thing. If you missed it by mistake, then that's fine. Cheers Lee

Hi Guys, Got this post from Patrick in my PM's............... Hi Lee,   Thank you for your reply about the climate control.
I'm not very knowledgable about this unit, and i really need to sort it out. Would the fact that the bulbs are not working mean that the whole unit is kaput?
Meaning i drove home tonight, approx 25 mile journey, cold air all the way despite temp turned up to Hi.
Was getting some warm/hot-ish air from it mid last week but now just cold....Like i said, the only thing thats lit on the unit are the aircon/recycle buttons...
thanks again Patrick

Wondering if the matrix is blocking up or it is electrical? Cheers Lee

The first thing to do is re set the unit. Details are Here. I have to say it does sound a bit like lack of circulation ie Matrix. This may sound daft BUT...it's happened before... have you checked the water level in the header tank?. Any sign of leaks anywhere?. Huh

Have you tested the bulbs with a battery?

Twist bulbs don’t always make good contact, have you tried twisting them with the panel hanging on the ribbon cable with the ignition & lights on.

If you have a meter test for voltage at the contacts where the bulbs go (ignition & lights on).

On the off chance you’re trying LED’s they may only work one way round.

Thanks for all the CC advive guys.
Checked the water level in the header tank earlier, all ok on max.
No signs of any leakage anywhere, checked the footwell carpets also and all dry there.
Checked the bulbs with the unit out on Friday with just the ribbon connected and lights on, no lights on unit only a/c and recycle button lit.
Will look at a meter test tomorrow, followed by the the unit reset if nessesary.
Just funny how the loss of lights has coincided with loss of heat, but then as you say Lee and Simmo, could be lack of circ in the Matrix.

Thank you for all the advice so far guys, much appreciated...

This is the front of the circuit board behind the facia, you can see a bulb & its connections to the socket. If you want to check the problem isn’t elsewhere check directly on the ribbon cable for lighting power it’ll be 8th from the left top row & 2nd from the left bottom row.
