Wanted Accelerator Cable 2.0L - 1996

I am posting this on behalf of a non-computer Scprpio owner. The inner part of the accelerator cable near the engine has frayed and the nipple has come off. Ford main dealer indicates that the part is obsolete. A cable is urgently required.

Simmo. Thank you for deleting the duplicate. As also suggested I will look up Spikies Scorpios. In case other members do not know of them there is a company near Wolverhampton who specialise in Ford and have one or two Scorpios in stock. I recently bought a 12 spoke wheel from them for £30. The 'phone number for TLC Ford is 01902 402274.
