Yes, that is it. That wheel is super smart. I was not aware of a wood effect auto shift being an option, nice.

Erich. The wood-shift is easy, it's from a Mondeo-Auto-Ghia-2.5. The Steering Wheel is, 'Rocking-Horse-nuts' I got mine from a Belgian dealer, £50. In the UK you'll pay £100 for the Steering-Wheel, if you find one. Remember the Steering-Wheel comes with and without the Cruise-Control.

That is a shame about the wheel, thanks for the tip on the auto shifter, looks quite good.

Dan. Very nice of you to say-so. I've spent a lot of time on my car, it will never give me back the money I've spent on it, I reckon I've done £2k on this car in extras and expenses over and above the normal running costs. Spare set of 12 spokes, (both sets powder-coated) re-built Auto-box by an esteemed member, new front suspension including wishbones, Full-Stainless-Steel exhaust including Cat, new rear hubs both sides, I could go-on forever............Still it's only worth what someone will pay for it.............probably about £800-1000. I have recently been looking for something else to waste money on and been looking at S-Type Jags, and XJ Aluminium Jags as well. These Jags are not much more comfortable than the Scorpio, just a bit tighter and newer. I have a mountain of spares for Scorps, I'm only happy to move on to members I regard, I've moved stuff to a few members, with no complaints. I just can't think of a better car than the Scorpio for the money and enjoyment, and the support on this site. I'll be sticking with it for a while yet.

Peter I have tried an S-type Jag (brother in law has one) and I must say I thought the scorp was more comfortable and seems to have more leg room in the back.

in 2006 i was loaned a new s type diesel 2.7 jag while my xj was in for service and was amazed to find myscorp 2.5 diesel was more lively and of course more roomy. being new it was obviously very tight and impressive but i made a mental note to go for a diesel xj if i was going jaguar but now i have a scorp facelift diesel auto devoid of arnitel wiring i prefer the scorpio
