Graham Thank you very much for this info. Believe it or not I shall have to replace my Off-Side wishbone this coming year. I replaced both of my wishbones in 2012 just before the MOT in August, with QH ones from Germany. I think my total cost including postage to Highlands was about £165. This August passed, my Scorp was given an advisory on the Off-Side ball-joint, in fact the tester, (a mate) let me feel the slight play! Our roads up here are pretty good, a lot less traffic, and hardly any 'pot-holes' so no excuses. So, those Akusan ones can't be any worse really than the QH ones in my book. In your opinion was the 'ball-joint' good enough for the job? Was the postage ok, and dealing with the seller easy? Thanks Peter

Its possible the QH ones from Germany were a bad batch then? The ones I bought from Latvia were just as easy to buy as the German ones. Good English, answered my queries quickly and arrived within a week. Postage was 11 euros. The ball joints seem ok. The castings were poor and the rear pin was loose. I drilled out the locking pin, tightened them up and re fitted new locking pins. As I said, they seem ok at the moment. Just have to see how it goes. What is the price of the Ford ones these days?

| This is what comes up via Google. Looks good. If you download the catalogue on Page 305 it shows the parts. Reference is G6-1045 Ref 7372345 (FOS) and G6-1046 Ref 7372346 (FNS) Looks like a 'bite their hand off job'!
