Then I won't tell you that I scrapped a brand-new 'factory' engine last year because NO-ONE wanted it on here.   I think in fact I posted pics up on here of the pistons with the numbers still waxed on the top.   Sorry.

Thanks for that, but its not the block, crank or pistons I want. I am building a 2.3 / 2.0 hybrid for my rally car.

OK.   Well, how about a full brand-new 2.0 litre head, camshafts, and twin inlets?   I think all ancillaries attached.   This head came off the aforementioned brand-mew engine that I was going to keep and put the 2.0 litre head on my 2.3 block to increase power.   That'll never happen now, the engine has too-many miles on the clock.   I think I also have a 2.0 litre inlet manifold, brand-new as well.

Interested ?   In fact, is anyone interested?   I tried to get rid of this stuff many moons ago, no-one wanted.

Anyway, the stuff is just taking-up space!   Remember, I'm North Scotland, so carriage can be a problem with certain people, but I know couriers that do cheap-enough rates going south.   Not that I'm desperate to get rid of the stuff, it'll sit for long-enough.

Thanks for the offer, but I've found a complete engine with loom, as I will need sump etc from the bottom end.
Interested as a spare, what do you want for it.

Martin

Lets not worry about the price.   Tell me what bits of above that you fancy, I can make sure I've got them and they're ok.   I can send pics to your email addy, if you provide me with one.   We can then palava about what we both think is fair value.   I would be just thinking about a worthwhile donation to this site, keeping this site running is worth a lot to me, and I'm now a firm believer that these type of spares ought to get used or be of value to someone rather than sitting getting dusty.   After all, I'm sure if anything happened that meant I needed spares I could probably get off this site!   My best mate's parents live in Burton-On-Trent, so next time he's down he could probably take the stuff down to his, or pop past yours if you can wait that long?   Let me know what you think, I'm busy this weekend.

Thanks for the offer, probably make use of all that, would be happy to make a donation. Looks like the engine I heard of has fell through now. I am in no major rush, loads to do on the car. You can email me at: snowsgarage@gmail.com
Thanks

Will hopefully take a few pics tomorrow, and make sure stuff is there and it's ok.   Still busy with 'Land-Stuff' so no promises.   Glad you're in no rush, that way if you're happy and my mate can bring the stuff down your way, we'll both benefit.   Speak soon.

Hi Martin

That's a few pics gone to your email addy.   I'm just looking at my desktop, and I might have sent a couple of extra pics by accident, because I just told the laptop to send all pics from desktop.

Regards

Peter
