Ooooooooer, those are about £330 new from Ford!   Now if I remember rightly, early Focus are very similar, and someone on here fitted one and it worked.   I think it was the fella that had a 4-litre Scorpio he built.   Long time ago.

Scrapyard or someone breaking a scorpio  are best bets. I got one last year eventually from Britannia Breakers Oldham and they will post parts.

Seeing this post I thought it might be useful to draw attention to This page which details the operation of the Climate Control. The thrust of the article is that the components continually adjust to maintain the desired temperature.

There is a separate page for Air con

In another thread you say your heater doesn't work. If the blower works at all but you don't get heat another blower control unit won't cure the problem.

In my case the blower would work for a varying length of time (sometimes as short as 30 secs) and then stop completely as though a component had to cool. It never got chance to adjust itself as it should.

What do you think could cause the heating not to work? I’ve checked all the pipes

You need to explain what's happening.
In your other thread Snoopy suggested the matrix but without telling us if the blower works etc it's impossible to give advice.

Even if both coolant hoses to & from heater are hot if the matrix is blocked you'll not get heat.

The proper ones are no longer available, it'll probably be the shorter one used on the non-climate control cars or a Granada one. These usually have a larger end plate (the CC end plate is the same size as the rest of the matrix).

You'll probably need to enlarge the hole in the plastic divider that's between the passenger & driver side of the heater box.

If it's shorter you'll need to pack the end of matrix with polystyrene or similar to prevent some of the air bypassing the matrix.

Be careful with the dash, the plastic is poor & breaks very easily around the screw holes. Don't overtighten them especially the ones under the vent by the windscreen. If you can get that vent off without damaging the clips you'll be very lucky.
