Hi, Can anyone advise me where to obtain a new drivers side rear wheel hub for my 2.3 Ultima Estate? Have been quoted a fortune for a genuine ford replacement so looking for an alternative. Many thanks

Whilst it is used on some other Fords it's the same part no so the same price. As far as I know there aren't any after market ones. On Ebay at the moment, try searching elsewhere using the other cars mentioned or the part no: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302693754508 Also a Ford dealer: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273556933000 I am fairly confident these are the right ones but up to you to make sure. You do see complete secondhand hubs on Ebay but for the price it's not worth the risk - they usually look pretty tatty. They're not handed or model specific (but hub carriers vary depending on disc size). Some hubs are a very tight fit to the bearings & should be fitted using a press - great care needs to be taken if using a drift & either way no loading should be put on the rollers during assembly. As far as I can remember the Sierra rear hub is exactly the same and costs a lot less, but carries a different part number .

Possibly have a Sierra hub in my spares which I can part with as my Sierra runs on Granada 5-stud alloys now so don't need it.

A quick look in the garage and 1 hub found under the workbench. Think it came off a Sierra - looks to be fine.
