Hi Roy Gozz said in 2013 that all the models used the same compressor but the clutches and brackets differed but could be swapped. He thought that the ones on the 12v and 24v were possibly identical. Regards Glyn

Used A/C compressors seem to sell for around the £60 mark on ebay, recons seem to start at just over £100 - might not even be worth taking a chance on a used one ? https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/car-brands/spare-parts-ford/scorpio-ii- gfr-ggr/4698/10454/compressor-parts.html

Td has finis 1416531, so different part I presume-trouble is Jock skinned it and just left me the bolts (minus1) and the bracket. Looks like I can snitch a bolt from the "racer" on the drive, but the compressor on that is shot also and it is a 2 litre, looks like the part is an "exchange" so could swap that in I suppose.
