I know, I've seen 10 year old , higher mileaged BMW's , Lexus and Mercs on sale for £4000+ , yet pristine low mileage Scorpios have to be practically given away.

unfortunately mick this year seems to have seen a big fall in scorp prices, have a look on ebay and you'll see what i mean, typical prices now seem to be a tad below the grand mark, although if yours is in top condition with low mileage it should fetch more....

Just a suggestion. I put for sale signs in the car when it was parked up, with full details of spec and service history etc. Asked for 995 for my P 2.3 Ultima auto estate with 145k on it and a local took it for 950 cash. Turned out they'd been looking for a while but liked to actually be able to see what they might buy straight off

Tell me about it, tried to sell/P/X mine a couple of times recently, nobody wants to know... 2.3 ultima saloon auto, 104k, state blue, raven velour, 'No, we don't do those' they say... Same story wherever I look. I've spent £3000 on it in the past 18 months, new 'box, front brakes/bearings etc etc, starting to think now I was crazy to bother. I like the car itself but I'm now noticing things again which will need attention in the near future (roll bar bushes just started squeaking for one), I'm seriously thinking about scrapping it the next time anything remotely expensive goes wrong. Ahhh, just feeling a little depressed tonight Bruce.
