Hi there, Im under instructions to cut down the fleet by domestic commander! So i need to sell the Scorpio and Discovery and find something that is a hybrid of the both of them?? Ford Explorer possibly??
Its a 1996 N reg Ultima 24v, only 72000 miles, metallic green with full leather and all the whistles and bells.
Theres a few scratches etc in keeping with its age. All the electric gizmos work, the only down points are as follows:
I think (might be a good point for some people ! ) its had its suspension lowered at some point and there is a custom made loud exhaust.
It will need a new O2 sensor(bank 2, sensor1) before its MOT as it was border line on its CO2 emissions last time.
The auto gearbox is playing silly b****rs but Im reliably advised by other site members that a cleaning of the MAF and gearbox multiplug will cure it!
Im near Salisbury for viewing and can email pics if anyone is interested. would gladly swap it for a Iveco Turbo Daily Xlwb hi top (camper van project!!)

i think £800 with gearbox and emisions issues are more likely to be the problem, if you sorted them out you would stand a better chance. especially for such an easy fix. ps is it taxed and mot'ed

MOT and tax are due at the end of the month, going to sorn it until I either have time to sort it out or it goes.
