95 cozzie estate, poss' sale

Hi all,

I have in my possession, a 95 ultima cosworth estate in a met’ purple. I got it with a view to breaking it for a kit car project I’m getting myself into but after using the last drop of fuel up,(only about 30 miles) I really think it would be a shame to break it.
The question is, what’s it worth? If it’s only a few hundred quid, I might as well break it as it has everything I need. If it’s worth a reasonable amount, I’ll mot it and sell it to someone who will appreciate it.

It has 68k miles and the book was last stamped at 53k.
There’s a few marks on the bodywork as you’d expect but no rust spots anywhere that I could see. I expect it would look great with a good polish. The only letdown is the rear bumper. It’s cracked and has a hole between the n’plate lights, but it’s still secure.
I’ve had it over a pit and apart from two spots that need repairing on the rear chassis rails, the underneath is solid. It’s been on my drive for 3weeks and not dropped any oil.
Inside is beige and all the leather, trim and carpets are in excellent condition. I mean very, very good.
When I drove it, all seemed well as far as I know but im no expert on them. It certainly pulled well, lol. No strange noises and it handled as I would expect a big old estate to handle.
I think leccy everything is standard but its all there and seems to work (seats, sunroof, etc). I was told its had ‘recent’ cats and all the tyres are good.

It’s been loved abit I reckon and the bloke I got it from seemed a genuine chap. He didn’t want to do the welding (or pay for it to be done) and the few minor little bits for an MOT.

So, assuming a full MOT, any ideas what its worth and is anyone interested?

Cheers,

No takers then?  As Drawlings priceing goes, (and his link) Its got to be worth £850.
AS i didnt pay top dollar for it, i'm open to sensible offers. I havn't done the mot yet so if someone wants to take it as it is and offer accordingly, let me know.

A friend with an MOT garage has smoke tested it for me and said the emissions had "very good readings" so no worries there. All the break efforts were good too.
It has two holes that need welding underneath and the two front lower arms need doing. Thats it.
C'mon, it'll be a shame to break it.

I cant believe it. A loverly old car like this and nobody wants it.  Sad  If someone can tell me how to do it, i'll put some pic's up.

I need to see £300 as it stands without the mot or the car gets it (broken that is,lol).  Any less and its not worth my muckin' about with it.
I have a friend with his eye on the engine and i want the running gear and so this is the last chance if someone wants it in one piece.

Good on you for offering it complete. If I had the space I would probably have about 50 Scorpios here now  Lips Sealed
