After 5 years of owning this great car it's time for it to go 
Listed on eBay item number: 280356880181
Item location: Harwich, Essex
Hopefully another enthusiast will buy it 
Fantastic economy for a big car running on LPG

Hi Snoopy,
It's an Aubergine 2.9 litre 12 valve auto 4 door saloon car.
I have owned and loved it for the last 5 years.
The LPG conversion means that it has small car economy with big car comfort (12-15 pence per mile depending on how's it's driven)
The usual things as suggsted by this website have been done
e.g. wheel bearings, auto box filters etc
It has done only 161,000 miles. Engine and gearbox are excellent. The engine oil and filters are always changed every 5000 miles - running on LPG means that the oil is very clean.
Does not use oil between changes
This car does not have the usual rusty wheel arches. They have been treated from the inside with Waxoyl.
It is not immaculate and does have a few scratches, dings and spots consistent with it's age and mileage.
That said it is in very good condition and can be driven away and used.
MOT until 24 April 2010
Tax until March 2010

Dear all, thanks for your interest in my car. There were 54 watchers with over 1000 hits. No bids until a few day before when a guy from Scotland bought it for the Buy It Now price of £1200. He had not heard of this forum - but he has now 
Maybe I listed it too cheap - he is chuffed to bits with this great old car
