1998 “S” 24V Ultima Facelift. (No parking sensors tho’)
SOLD/GIVEN AWAY AS A NON RUNNER DUE TO FUEL PUMP CONNECTING WIRING BEING FAULTY / BURNT OUT?
102K. Full service history loads of bills/paperwork. I’ve owned this car for a year since buying it from Scorpio site member Pete (a.k.a. Scruffygyt). MOT Feb 2010 taxed for 6 months (end Jan 2010). Interior perfect (raven) exterior very good, slight wheel arch bubbling. Everything works! Its Aubergine and looks superb! 4 new Pirelli’s. Things I’ve had done apart from its last major service (less than 1000 ago) are a new petrol tank and brakes. Location is Milton Keynes (Bucks)

Hopefully the part I need is still available from Ford, so for £30.00 I'm going to give it one more chance! Watch this space.

Got the part from Ford today. Looks to be the right bit of kit, (multiplug plus cable)! Hurrah. However the tow truck came out to pick up the car and take to local garage for tank removal and change multi plug and promptly broke down! Result – a tow truck for the tow truck. I’m beginning to think my Scorpio may be getting like Christine in the Stephen King novel! I’ll keep you posted.
