1998 2.3 Ultima Facelift Saloon 54k SOLD

Selling my 2.3 ultima saloon auto with 54000 genuine miles complete with full service history.' Colour is Mediun charcoal green. Will get some pictures up this week once i have cleaned it. Registered 10th march 1998 Full serveice history MOT March 2010 Full Leather Interior Traction control Everything else is as standard and in full working order. I have just spent £600 having the A/C fixed, it had a new condensor, compressor, receiver dryer and one of the a/c lines replaced. The autobox filter and oil was changed when i bought the car last october, the old oil was clean with no bits in it. The autobox is smooth and runs beautifuly. There is no rust on the car, which is good as they usually go on the wings. The Paint work is lovely, i spent a whole day using a portacable polisher going over it with 3 different grades of polish to remove the swirls, so the paint work looks great. The only downside is a couple of dents the where on the car when i bought it. There is a 50p size dent on the bonnet by the grill, there is a dent/crease on the boot, looks like its been reversed into a post, but please dont let this put you off the car, otherwise excellent condition. i have tried to describe the car as best possible to not deceive anyone I have owned the car for a year and have had no problems at all with it at all. Price is £995 ono

If you are able to get all the bodywork repaired then I would be interested. Where are you in the UK? Cheers

I will get some on at the weekend as I away for the week, I didn't really think it was worth putting any if engine or boot because once you have seen one Scorpio you have seen them all, but I will take dome when I get home

The bodywork looks very good.... I do like that colour (I nearly bought one once from McCarthy cars in London - it had the same 7 spoke 17" alloys that I eventually had on S29COS) I would agree with you that once you've seen one Scorpio interior you've seen them all. 54000 miles would be enough to sell if you ask me! Not many left with mileage under 90000 these days! Good Luck and if it was a Cosworth..... I might be interested!

The reason I mention pics inside is to see the condition of the seats, trim etc. It's not just the outside that matters. I would never consider travelling a long way to see a car without seeing both inside and outside of the car. I recently bought a Scorpio 24v with only 58k on the clock and seen a few more around with similar mileage so it's not quite as rare as you think, except this is the facelift model.

Look forward to see some pics of the interior as I am interested in the car, but since I would be travelling a long way I want to make sure it's worth my while. I am wondering how much it would cost to put the damage right on the car. Have you had any quotes etc? Shame you can't get any pics on till next weekend as I was free to come and see the car. I've sent you a pm with my contact details if you would like to chat more about the car.
