After many debates and pending grandchild missus and I have to part with the Scorp. Missus is getting estate car and I inherit her Prelude that has been owned since new.
So we have for sale for £950… (And I reckon that is a cracking price) my “S” reg saloon facelift Aubergine 24V model.
Full service history 103K miles new P6000`s all round, everything works fine and Dandy! This year I have experienced a problem with the connector to the fuel pump but this has been changed and is now absolutely fine.
MOT Feb 2010 TAX ends Jan 2010. Rust worm just stating to show on rear arches, rest of bodywork superb, and interior is unmarked.

See pictures on photobucket link and feel free to email me or phone for any more details. Richard. AKA Waglet Tel: - 07777642977 email: - richard.c.warner@bt.com

Yep MK it is. Only done about 5K miles on the MK roads. I've had it a year or so (bought from site member). That S29 COS is it a blue one? I'm pretty sure I almost bought it a few years back from a seller close to Watford/M25 area  Undecided

No S29COS was my silver 24v. The blue one you may be thinking of was S24COS

This was mine!!

The registration number is on a retention certificate at the moment

Mine burst the hose from the thermostat through the head and down the "V" to the back of the engine. Ford don't make it any more and it is not available as a pattern part as it has too many twists and size changes.

I fitted a second hand one but that only lasted a few weeks and meant the head had to come off again. Put together with the bursting radiators and leaky steering rack, and the fact that as I run my own business and have customers all over the UK, I couldn't trust the car to get me about anymore.

I couldn't stand the thought of selling it complete so I sold it for bits and helped lots of other people to keep their car on the road!

There isn't any room on my drive now with having the S Class limo, 407 saloon, three Corsairs and a skip, room is at a premium. If you want to make me an offer on S29COS be my guest!! Otherwise it will probably end up on the S Class!

.....and I nearly bought S24COS when the reg was still on the DVLA website. I opted for 29 and it let me put a big black bolt in between the 2 and the 9 to make Scorpio 2.9 Cosworth!

They are now on Tonys car.... (Tenfut) and do look good. They originally came from a chap in Germany and I had to replace one with a new wheel from fordpartsuk.... I do miss the Scorpio, but I love the reliability of the S Class!!
