Deceased due to Wiring.

This is my Third Sorpio and unfortunatly will be my last. Best long distance tourers ever but this one has wiring that disintegrates in front of your very eyes and has now decided to die completely. A new loom or remake would appear to be the only way out. There are many new parts on the car, headlamps, tyres, plugs and other service items. Are there any buyers for such an animal. ONE PROBLEM: it resides in Southern Spain. Great shame because the Web site is fantastic.

Yes it would help. 1995 2.9 Cosworth Estate.LHD Span.Reg. 160k Kms. Supposedly supplied to a Ford Director when new. All the usual refinements. Front and rear bumpers are the only damaged items.Pretty full service history. Just seems a shame to dump it in a breakers, but that is where it will have to go.

that is indeed a catastrophe, just for the sake of some wires. Do you not feel up to mending the wiring yourself?
