a pair of face lift 2.3 auto ests

first one is mid chorco green this hase had,
recon ford moter
recon auto box
new inlet manifold
new top loom
new fuse box
new front bumper
plus loads smaller bits
no mot or tax but quite a bit of rust so fore parts unless youre brave and a good welder
no 2 is silver. one of the last made. it hase side air bags
nice car drove ase it shold .but the head gasket hase gone betwen no 3-4 and hase been taken off.its mot till may but no tax .even the headlight washers work and have the covers on.
ther near yeovil somerset if you are intrested in eather or bouth

Hi I might be interested but would need to find out how much a local garage to you would charge to finish the headgasket job as it would cost a fortune for me to come down and do it or have it trailored to me.
How much did you want for the silver one?

after the first post i hade the head skimed bought new head set timing chaine plunger to do the job.but a low life nicked the head.probebley £3-4 ase scrap .so i have lost intrest.moved on to a explorer had to be a ford.seams a shame to just send them on as scrap when the silver one is still a nice car.bouth have loads of hard to find-expensif bits on them.spiks looking fore £200 fore a face lift front bumper and i bet that will not include head light washers-fog lights-indecaters.with a bit of work you could make 1 good car out of 2 and have loads of spares left,

I think you suffer from the same problem as i do, just in the wrong part of the country, too far from most people.

I would have loved to try and put them both back on the road but it would cost a fortune to get them up to me and probably a couple of days. I also have the problem of nowhere to park them, no spare time and not enough cash to move them lol.
I wish I could find somewhere to rent with plenty of space to park cars and work on them. It breaks my heart to see so many scorpio's being scrapped even if parts are taken off 1st as they are such a good car when running right.

Are the rear shocks and springs any good ?
Not that I'm desperate now mine has passed it's MOT today, but maybe a good idea to keep them for someone who may need them as they are a rare item now.

been ther done that roders.had a 1970 mk1 escort 1300gt 2 door about 25 years ago that no one whonted at the time so i put the moter in my mk2 van and striped rest.spent the next ten years moving the bits around till i got feed up and skiped them.from then on the price of mk1s and bits fore them have gone up and trough the roof
