Here we have available a quality Ford Scorpio Ultima Cosworth 24v that I am selling reluctantly for my Father.
The Sale will be based on private sale conditions without any warranty issued and sold on terms of a "Viewed, Tried & Tested" basis.
OK, on to the car itself then. These are quite a rare breed of motor car and do have quite a cult following these days and is becoming an appreciating modern day classic "Executive Saloon."
This particular vehicle being a "top of the line" Cosworth Edition is supplied with an extremely high factory specification from new.
With the Cosworth motor 3.0V6 24V pushing around 205 HP the car is no slouch and this particular vehicle has been very well maintained throughout its 13 year life and yet is still "surprisingly" sensible on fuel usage if not driven with a "heavy right foot"
My Father has been getting around 25-27 MPG on a run and slightly less "around town" so perfectly useable performance with acceptable running costs..??
Fully loaded a brief overview of the equipment is listed below:
•Full Factory Leather Trim
•Electric Heated Seats Front / Electric Rear
•Full Climate Control (fully gassed and 100% functioning)
•Electric Tilt / Slide Sunroof (factory option)
•Electric Heated Door Mirrors
•Factory Fitted "PDC" Park Distance Control
•Optional Upgraded Ford Factory Alloys "16 inc wheels all wrapped in good quality rubber. (locking wheel nuts and removal tool supplied)
•CD, Radio Multi-changer & Steering Wheel Controlled Functions
•Multiple Speaker & Sub-Woofer System (Factory Fitted)
•Heated Front & Rear Screens (fully functional)
•Leather Centre Consol (showing slight wear)
There are numerous other items supplied from the factory but this gives you an idea that even by modern day standards the car is very well equipped....
The car has also been fitted with a "full" Stainless Steel Exhaust system with receipt and lifetime guarantee.
Detailed documentation, partially stamped Ford Service History (book) & numerous invoices / sales documents etc to support additional vehicle servicing absent from the "stamped" Ford Book.
In addition numerous "lever" arch files containing the FULL Scorpio Cosworth service / build manuals for every part of the car !!
All MOT Certificates are available with the vehicles service history to support and verify the cars very low mileage for its age.
The Car is MOT'd until November 2011 and is currently showing 74160 and this is now not likely to increase very much as my Father has now left this with me to sell on for him, hopefully for a "sensible & fair" price.
The vehicle is also supplied with a fresh "6" months Road Fund Licence which expires 31.10.2011, so she is already to go and does not require any immediate assistance in any area.
The body work is in a very good state of health considering the age and is only showing a very small amount of corrosion on the NSR wheel arch (2cms) a small mark on NSR plastic "wrap round" and another mark on the body just to rear of the OSR door.
Detailed pictures are available to show these very small and hard to notice "blemishes"....

Thanks for your comments and yes it is a good car and so much of it for the money, so many people dont really understand the Scorpio Cossies and yet they offer fantastic value and luxury for next to no doe..
We shall see hopefully I will be able to move this on to the next lucky owner who will keep her in the excellent condition (for age) that she is in..

Is that one of those 2 yearly European MOT's? 
Lovely looking car, its one of the facelifted ones made in the last few months of production late 97 to June 98.
only a few thousand of these were made.

Oops on the MOT a TWO YEAR ticket would be good what a selling point...
