I have just been to see a retired bloke who has a Scorpio which is now too thirsty for him,he has acquired a small diesel Peugeot. The car is a 2.3 Ultima, deep blue colour that changes in the sunlight,it's got 86000 miles on the clock and everything seems to work, the man's brother bought it almost new with 3000 miles on it.The general condition is not that of a £1000 car,it having the usual Scorpio rear wheelarches and some scab underneath the sills, plus numerous small dents. There is tax and test to the end of next month. It's all there and is eminently repairable,a local mechanic who has looked after it put me on to it for spares, however in my opinion it's not yet ready for breaking. The man's name is Roger and his phone is 01733 332563. I suggested he may get £300 for it as is,and also that it might be worth his son in law floating it on the Bay. You could go there and drive it away today GOZZ.
