Peoples,
After watching the forum for 2 1/2/ years, which has help keep the Scorpio on the road, I have put my Scorpio up for sale on ebay (item 180857857081). Tax/MOT until August. 100K miles. Most things work, except heated front screen and auto dimming rearview mirror.
As pointed out elsewhere in the forum, she might need centre propshaft bearing replaced and I think the wishbones need looking at. Last time I drove her, the brakes were shuddering, which was cured by replacing front discs and pads with Mintex items. Once round the block highlighted that the brakes were OK, but I'm not sure if the wishbones now need attention. Along with the central bearing and my work commitments, I don't think I have the time to sort it all out.
Sad to let her go, but a SAAB 900 convertible has become latest challenge
