I thought it was only motorists who were dazzled by shiny good looks  obviously applies to dealers as well  joe public in general seem to feel safer buying from a dealer and are prepared to pay more,so if he gets his money there is considerable equity to pay for loom repairs or an autobox rebuild etc if the customer brings it back,if he doesn't a handsome killing has been made.
