R Reg 24v (LPG) (updated)

Hi all,
Is there any interest in this car as it will be going to the scrap yard next Saturday.

I might take a offer  without the LPG or with the LPG (But might be taking this out this weekend/coming week).

I have a black 1998 saloon for sale.  The time has come to sell this car as I don’t have the time or money to invest in it anymore.  The car was fitted with a LPG conversion by me and my fathering law from a donor Scorpio back in 25/3/11 and was registered to my vehicle on that date.  The lpg still works and will fit with ease into another 24v, the maker of the lpg is stargas. It has a 70litre tank in the boot and I was getting around 32mpg using it daily on a 90 mile round trip to work all motorway/dual carriageway.  I think the lpg will fit into any 6 cylinder vehicle. I have the software for the lpg but not sure if it works. But can be found online.

I have spent a lot of money on this car and it has had new front springs and shocks new disks two new cats not so long ago to name a few. I have lots of receipts for items brought.

The car has done about 180,549 or there about as the clock was changed before I brought it. I can trace that through the MOT website. It has tax until the end of Feb 14 and MOT until the Feb 23 2014. The car does drive but has a few problems with it. On cold start up it hunts up and down until it is warm and then it is fine. It will need 2 new tyres for the MOT as the 2 rears will need replacing (I have 2 steel spares on the rears at the moment). I think it will need a new exhaust as well for MOT. . The car has rust appearing around the wheel arches and some on the doors, the front bumper is cracked, and the interior is pumice colour and still looking good.

I stripped another 24v a couple of years ago and have a lot of spare parts that will be included with the vehicle (full black leather interior elec heated seats, dash, door cards all switches etc. Lots of engine parts to many to list. Front bumper in blue, rear lights etc, etc.

I was looking for £650 ono as the lpg is worth that alone.

The car is based in Hertford , Herts

Kind regards

Michael
