MY 98 SCORPIO COSWORTH GHIA ESTATE FOR SALE

unfortunately due to an unexpected changing health problem my long sought for and lovely Cosworth Estate has to be sold along with the rest of the classics and competition cars, i.e. I won't be driving again.
Fell in love with the idea of the Scorpio Cosworth back in 2016 and spent nearly 18 months looking for the right one to come up as it was going to be a keeper and also to be used in the summer for towing the competition car to events. was thus looking for an estate and strangely i didn't really want an ultima as just too many reported electrical problems and fixing those in the future is going to get more difficult. sometimes less is more. so overjoyed when this ghia estate came up in 2017. this was the one that had had a husband and wife owner between 2001-2017 complete with massive service, mot historyand all bills detailing all work done/parts in that period totalling some £15,000 this one had been meticulously maintained. that history file comes with the car
in 2018 i went right through/around the car sorting the odd bits and pieces so it had new front discs, wheel bearings, pads, new rear discs and pads, fully serviced, complete detail clean inside out, underneath inner arches out and every rust spot cleaned and treated even fitted new sills as a few rust spoys showing and fearing the worst, but was almost pointless as sound as a pound inside. fixed all the minor little electrical niggles. so as those of you that have seen it whilst not concourse this is a fairly immaculate Moondust silver estate. really needs to be seen/driven. if seriously interested message me looking for around £3.5K less to scorpio forum member. ps forum will get a good donation from me when it sells as without the forum i wouldn't have found out so much about the car or had the confidence that buying one wasn't foolish, thanks prior and current members for the wealth of knowledge

Sorry to hear that you having to give up driving, that must be a bummer. You could put what other car related stuff you need to sell on the site, I think.

Very sorry to hear this, sounds a lovely car, would have it and cherish it, but with 4 cossies (2 on the road) and 2 2.3s it's a bit OTT even for me!
Wish you all the best and hope it goes to a deserving buyer who will treat these lovely cars as they deserve.

So very tempted by this car. Having sold my last scorpio estate, a 2.5 diesel some 9 years ago I've always wanted another one, preferably a Cosworth.
My only concern is I don't have a garage big enough to house what sounds a very well loved car. It would be a shame for it to be sat on the drive in the great British weather when not in use.

now sold to a nice guy who seemed to genuinely want a cosworth estate and for the money that makes me reasonably confident that its not going to be parted out or go racing. he wants to register with the website and forum, so i said i'd ask the easiest way to do that as i seem to remember a couple of years back when i joined that i wasn't sure if i had been successful for a couple of weeks, is there a link i should point him to? or someone i should get him to email
