Hi Roy I saw that on the news, there was a talk of Newquay and your zoo may have to close. Just driven around Newquay and not many people around yet. No shows to go to this year, I try to go to a couple or more each year, will have to show off scorp more next year. Gerald.

Looks like it has gone!? That's a shame about Living Coasts, the permanent closures are starting to roll in now. I'd never been but had a few visits to Paignton Zoo

But conversely it's a lot of car... seem to remember a quote on here somewhere " if you buy a scorpio estate it will be the most useful & best car you have ever had" say no more-got 2 just in case one fails!!.....temporarily. So thats why you sold yours Q...it wasnt an estate was it?? still lives on though and thats what matters. child no more just collect their singles though

Have any pf you looked over this particular Scorpio? I'm going to see it tomorrow, as my P-reg 2.3 Ultima saloon, after 13 years of mostly good service, failed its MOT beyond any reasonable hope of fixing yesterday.* It's price has come down somewhat since what's written above, but given my damaged back and prescription pain killer induced brain fog I'm not that confident of my ability to assess it thoroughly and accurately. *I'll be posting soon for any ideas about what to do with my soon to be ex-Scorpio. (Good grief ... I used a different word to describe my back, and the forum software replaced it with 'broken'! Severely not working right, yes; broken, no!)

If you have space to keep your old car it will be very handy for spares. Whats it failed on, or put the reg on here, it maybe repairable by somebody. Check all the places on the new car where yours has failed.

Sadly I have no parking at all - my car is just parked by the pavement in the High street of my village near my house, or 150m up a lane (my house is on the corner of the High Street and the lane) when there's no space near my house after I go out. I'll do a separate thread about my old car for suggestions/offers (reg is P468UAB, and several people on this forum have provided needed spares for it over the years, though not recently). I'm certainly going to try to check everything on this estate my saloon has failed on over my 13 years with it, but the fatal MOT clincher on Wednesday was severe structural rust underneath, front and rear, N/S and O/S, and without this car up on a lift, my back is really going to limit my inspection ability.
