HI AGAIN EVERYONE
DUE TO THE INTEREST THIS TOPIC HAS GENERATED,I THINK IT WOULD BE GREAT IF WE CAN GET SOMETHING TOGETHER SO HERE GOES,THIS IS THE PLAN,ANY SUGGESTIONS,PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POST ..........
I THINK THE IDEAL TIME TO GET TO THE KESTRAL WOULD BE ABOUT 11.00,I WILL BE LEAVING GLASTONBURY AT ABOUT 7.45 AM,AND WILL BE AT SEDGEMORE SERVICES FOR 8PM,OBVIOUSLY THE FURTHER UP THE M5 WE GO ,I THINK THE BEST WAY TO TRY TO MEET UP WOULD BE AT SERVICE STATIONS AS OPPOSED TO JUNCTIONS,HOPEFULLY IF ALL WHO INTEND TO JOIN US REPLY TO THIS POST,WE CAN TRY TO GET A TIME PLAN TOGETHER,SO GUYS ITS OVER TO YOU,ANY MEMBERS FROM CORNWALL OR DEVON,CAN HOPEFULLY ORGANISE WHERE TO MEET UP (AND AT WHAT TIMES),IN SERVICE STATIONS FURTHER DOWN THE M5 (A38),I AM ASSUMING MOST OF US WOULD HAVE MOBILE PHONES,SO THIS WILL HELP,PLEASE NOW FEEL FREE TO REPLY ALL OF THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO TRY TO GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD,ANY SUGGESTIONS/PLANS WOULD BE MORE THAN WELCOME,
SO THEN..WHAT DO YOU THINK ?

Hello lads
It seems surprising no-one has replied.The last "M5 convoy" topic generated a LOT of interest.Craig has set the ball rolling,he just needs a bit of feedback.It's only once a year and you can all put that classic sticker in your back window....."Don't follow me,i'm lost too"!!!!!So come on,let's get something sorted,i'm sure it'll make the journey up more interesting,especially when you get everyone looking at a load of Scorpio's in the outside lane!!!

but great to see a few more people are going to make the effort,what i propose is this.......
i will let this thread now run untill the middle of next week,next tuesday/wednesday,i will look at who is planning to join us and where,then hopefully will post some plan of "attack",michael,i actually live in glastonbury,so will be meeting you very early on if you like,anybody else who is interested,please join in,and finally at the moment,nev i have your number,anybody else who is SURE they will be coming,could i please have your mobile number,by e-mail,or instant message,this would be a great benefit to me..........

nick,the plan is roughly as follows..M5,then onto the M40,then onto the M42,leaving at junction 11,then taking the A444 to burton then the A50 to hatton,thats the PLAN !!!!!!
paul,if you can make any use of this info,please dont hestitate to contact me,would be nice if we could meet somewhere,but it all now depends on your route
any suggestions,please let me know...

which junction are u leaving on the m5 to join the m42. I travel this route north and south quite alot and you DONT want to go onto the m40!!! That will take you to oxford. the M5 flows staight onto the m42. I will meet you J10 Moto services on M42 If this is confusing mail me nick_lynn@btopenworld.com or fone 07793 453077

to clear up any confusion,this is what i did last year...
M5 to junction 4A,then M42 to junction 11,,then the A444 to burton,then finally the A511 on to hatton,please ignore the M40 comment,old atlas last year,have been given a new one by the wife,again,because of last year (lol),so if thats all agreed,how does that now sound to everyone ?

Hello Craig - I will be going up, probably meet you at your house in the morning otherwise I'll get lost and turn up on the wrong day - lol!
Still haven't figured out where a couple of my pipes go but I'll have a look at everyone elses when we get there.
