Never mind the problems

Hi all

isn't the Scorpio just a great car to own!! I have owned mine for about six months now and within that time I must of been approached about a dozen times in car parks or petrol stations etc.. with people admiring the car! I have never owned a car that has grabbed this much attention before, even at work in the car park surrounded by BMW's and Merc's! a 10 year old car for goodness sake!! but you cant help but love the Scorpio more after hearing such positive remarks. even with all its faults Grin

Has your Scorpio ever been under the spotlight? Smiley

just thought I’d share that with you all! I suppose I’d better get back to work Grin

You're so right. I also find the Scorpio gets loads of looks. Whether its good or bad I don't know, but I like to think its in admiration.
I have actually had someone ask, "What is it?" Blimey, I didn't think they were that rare!

I had someone come into my workplace and we got chatting about the company car(xkCool. Then he said " who's is the MERC next to it". From a side on view i'd agree that it does look like a merc. Anyone agree??

Hmm, don't think I'd get them mixed up myself, but Mercedes did copy those headlights a bit.  Smiley

My wife was working at her desk, her boss came and stood behind her and looking out of the window said 'is that your Scorpio down there', 'yes' she replied, her boss retorted saying 'bloody ugley car that', she then asked him what car he drove, he replied 'a Nissan Primera Mk1', Wifes reply 'nuff said'

What the hell is a Nissan?
I know! its borg isnt it.....a copy of everything else. ford where always to quick with there styling..(Seirra and Grannada)..all the other companys and magazines put it down when it arrived on the scene, calling it frog face and that ugly ass, then when thay have done enough damage and Ford take it of the market they bring out there own mad developments. ....BMW are going mad now with the weird fron lights.

SO there you are.  JJ

I must say that I do like the look on the scorpio and I do find that a lot of cars are copying the design of the lights now.  Grin Grin
BUT the one car I cant stand is the BMW with the round lights on the front. YEA you know the ones. The horrible ones with a circle on the inside. Yuck I think it looks sh**t and I hate being in front of one. errrrrrrrr I cant stand looking at it through my mirrors. So just got to put my foot down and lose it before I throw up.

Just my opinion anyway.

Toyota Avensis, Vauxhall Vectra, Mini as you said, Ford Fiesta, Nissan Primera (what ever that is) VW Beatle (yes) it also has similar fron lights with the projection above the beam. Renult are taking on this shape. Mercedes have been for a while, the New Astra just out. and many more. the Scorpio was truely ahead of its time and is now more eye catching than ever before.

That happened to me a while ago, by the mechanic who serviced my car.
But I didn't think until afterwards that I forgot to ask the killer question....
How much??
