The 2,5 litre turbo diesel engine is produced by an Italian company, VM, well known for their diesel engines.
This engine is used in many different applications besides cars, eg marine called Mercruiser or BMW, many agricultural and industrial machine applications and stationary use.
In cars the engine appears in Jeep Cherokee, Chrysler Voyager, Rover SD1, Rover 825 TD, Range Rover 2,4 & 2,5 TD, Alfa Romeo 155 2,5 TD, Alfa Romeo 164, 2,5 TD, Magnum La Forza, Opel Frontera 2,5 TD, the Ford Scorpio 2,5 TD and certainly a few more.
