Hello and welcome Eric. Sorry to hear of your misfortune, but just keep thinking about driving your new beast and the time will fly past!! I live In Warrington, but do come over to the Wirral occasionally on scrapyard visits. I drive an S Reg 24v Ultima in Silver and my other one is another S reg 24v Ultima in Nouveau red. Oliver lives over your way and there is another guy on the Wirral, but i can't remember his name Baz

Wumpster, BMS who are also on Cleveland street have a few in as well. They had an R reg estate in that purply colour, a tourmallard green saloon and two nouveau red saloons. One of the saloons and the estate has full leather. Ask for phil if you phone up because geoff doesn't work there anymore!!

Eric, Welcome to the forum; as a "newbie" myself I have found this site fantastic for advice on all things Scorpio. As a non-mechanic whose 24v was originally my company car and therefore serviced for me, I am now getting to grips with looking after it myself to save on bills and crappy service standards by so-called experts . I live in Chester. Contact me off list if you want to compare notes and cars anytime. Neil W.

Hi Neil, Thanks for that i'll be in touch when my ankles better. As for servicing these cars i've started to do the some bits myself as well, as soon as most garages open the bonnet and see the engine the price goes up tenfold. Eric
