Blue boy, the new boy!!!

Just recently bought my 2.0 16v ultima auto, had 4 previous owners, loads of service history, 60.000 genuine miles etc etc- £1000 from a mate in scotland who paid £2500 for her 12 months ago, it is straight and an honest car, hpi clear.
I have read some of the comments and the only issues are:
rear boot warning light stays on -poss wiring in boot
no CD changer in the boot
crazy dials when starting car- battery fault??
Is there anything else I should check??
Can't find any colour magic in Mauve/dark purple??
All relevant reply's will be helpful.
Thanks.

colour magic  Huh Huh Huh
personally woulden't use that stuff, with the money you have saved, why not get the car professionally valeted, then to keep the car looking good, wash it on a regular basis, and polish with a good quality product, autoglym does seem to do the job very well indeed.................
HTH

See there we go, normal service has been resumed, the captain is back on the poop deck.

Welcome blue boy and good choice in new motors, the guys have answered all your questions, but dont worry you will have more soon, these scorpios are cracking motors but sometimes annoying.

For the dials have a look at the battery, fist sign of a duffer is flicking needles and the scorp seems to need a new one every couple of years.

Someone was selling a multichanger on ebay, but you might need the changer lead as well.

Good luck

Changer lead long enough to go to the boot, about 22 quid from any radio shop. CD changer cover and brackets about %-10 quid from a breaker, CD changer off ebay about 60 quid. Cheaper than buying a sony one and having to stick 20 quid converter leads in!!
