Does anyone know what the minimum specs are for the laptops to be able to use Vehicle Explorer, as mine that i've just bought is a Pentium2 mmx, 266mhz with 64mb of memory, if the basic spec is meant to be higher could this be why i cant install and run it and only run it from the disc. If i run it from the disc it runs ok but won't run properly if i try and install. Urgent help needed, Fitzy

OBD 2 website states Package Features Use Windows 3.1, 95, 98, BOB, ME, 2K, XP computer, 386 or higher, optimized for low cost laptops. so I would say 386 is minimum spec simon

Well i've managed to sort out where iwas going wrong thanks to Jim H, it all works fine now all installed to laptops hard drive and fully operational, just waiting for me OBD lead to arrive and i'm there. Just got to learn what is what in Vehicle Explorer and what it all means so i'll probably be back on the OBD pages with quite a few questions over the next few weeks. Thanks for your help, Fitzy
