Remote Repairs

Hi All,
Not sure if this has been done before but i have just repaired my remote with a simple procedure with something that we all should have in our kitchens.
about a month ago my remote stopped working alltogether even when i was standing right next to car, so firstly i changed the batteries and cleaned the rubber contacts but this didn't improve the range at all. to get it to work i had to use my house key to press the buttons to open or lock the car and as i had the Lock and Go Mod on the way i needed a good repair.
So last night got some tin foil and cut it into three small squares and placed them between the rubber buttons and the circuit board and when i went to test it............ Wham bam thank you mam worked first time, it even works from quite a distance now so give it try you've got nothing to loose what so ever.

I have got a Blue Peter badge somewhere, at me mum's house i think, but i did appear in an episode of Why Don't You with some mates from school over twenty years ago mind. But as i've always said you never know until you try it.

Well i did mention that at the start of the post about not being sure if this has been used before, it might have been one of the several hundred posts lost due to the server crashing q while back.
