now i normaly drive either a 1.6 16v orion or a 1.6 peurgeot partner(company car), but this morning i was priveledged to be given the keys to vulcan's 2.9 24 valve scorpio....he aked if i would put the fuel in it, so i left him with a list of house work to do and boy did this girl have fun....i did the chores and then headed for home, living in an area of 20_40 mph restrictions i felt totally frustrated, on the way home was the slip road to home...like hell, i wanted to open this baby up without the engine screaming for a 6th gear...so i went straight past the slip road and found myself doing 80 up the A69 with a classical album going full belt.....this thing is a dream...a total chill out vehicle, i didn't want to go home, but i knew the vulcan would be worried about his baby....and no thats not me.....this woman came home totally satisfied, what more can i say...roll on next saturday.... )
