Lock On Go Mod (problem)

Hi Guys I recently installed Steve Collisters brilliant Lock On Go Mod, all the tests worked fine and unit works on the remote ok, but i do have a little problem and not sure if anyone else who has installed this has the same problem. Sometimes when i unlock the car by pressing the unlock button only once, all the windows and sunroof open and i thought this should only work when you unlock, lock and then unlock again, mine also global closes all the windows and sunroof if i press the lock button twice without having to unlock the car and lock again, Global closing should only work when you double lock and unlock then double lock again within 15 seconds. Also sometimes when i unlock the car the tailgate will unlatch itself too, but its not on the same circuit as the central locking. Have checked all cable connections and all are ok and connected to the right wires, has anyone who has fitted this mod suffered any of these probs or similar ones? Help needed, Fitzy

Hello mate. Mine global closes if I double lock too. I thought that was right. But not sure about your first bit. That is odd Is your remote ok? Or did you repair it with tin foil? Just wondering if something is touching inside and its making it do an extra operation

Hi, yea sorry got the locking bit wrong, no need to lock, unlock then lock again, got that mixed up with the global opening procedure. Will take a look at the tin-foil repair in case thats the cause, but as it happens when it feels like it, i never know when its going to happen, but when it does happen the locks don't seem to open, lock then open, they just unlock and global opening occurrs, but i will check the remote. Have been in touch with Steve who is a real gent and offered to exchange my box for another one, but i will try soldering the connections first and look into the remote too. Fitzy

Fitzy, I see you are still tinkering with the car. I take it you've sorted out the other much larger problems you had.Hope all is well, Simmo.
