I tried to convince him but he had so many timewasters he got fed up. I was even contemplating on buying it with a view to making a quick quid or two. It was p/x'd at a BMW dealers in Exeter. I told him should've at least taken the plates off but he was just too fed up!  A great shame, the Ford alloys were exceptionally rare plus it had all options and was one of the last batch models (June '9Cool. Whoever does buy it will get one heck of a nice car!! Oh, it also had the brochure option rare wood-rim steering wheel (retaining the airbag) which cost over £300 alone!!

My S reg with 111,000 on the clock on a June 98 build sold for £3,000.00 when I sold it and for £3,500.00 when Alan sold it on about 2 months later. Mind you he did put new tyres and things on it. I would have bought it and made a quick few quid if he was daft enough to sell it for that much, would have served him right.

We know what you mean about them steering wheels as well don't we Craig!!
