Easynow everyone

I have become the proud owner of a 2.5 Ghia TD, 1995 N reg with a mere 69k on the clock in excellent condition. Only had it for three days and the lower pulley fell offHuh?? £225 later she runs better (and quiter) than it did before.

Haven't had a chance to check yet but hoping for a better fuel return than the 7 series BMW (18-20 to the gallon) I sold before  Roll Eyes Grin

It goes brilliantly and all me pre concieved thoughts about a diesel have disappeared quite quickly, my only problem at the moment.....do they make these as automaticsHuh  Embarassed

If you see me on my travels say hi  Cool

N*** HGV and its green

Hi and welcome to the site, were a nice bunch really, well most of the time.
i think you should see better MPG than the BMW and a rarer car.

They did an auto TD but not until the facelift came out i think, last one i saw for sale was stupid money as it was a low miler 50,k on a 's' plate.

common problem the pulleys, but as its fixed now you should be sorted.

The engine is the good old VM engine and they are pretty bullet proof, someone on here had over 250k on theres so thats not bad.

Enjoy your stay, have a laugh and look forward to reading your posts.

might even see you around, maybe at Billing later in the year.

Thanks all  Grin

Looking forward to hanging 'round, really getting in the swing with the TD now, although I have noticed a couple of times I have gone to flash my lights and changed the CD track up one....  Embarassed

Also initially indicating seemed to make Green Days "Who wants to be an American Idiot" get louder and louder, but hey I am getting in the swing of it now!!

What happens at Billing? Do you go as a club or just meet there  Huh

Oh Dart you've met the wife  NoNo

Bless her heart, no I didn't know they were 'bug eyes'  Shocked

I have had the car for one month and clocked up just under 4000 miles, excellent mpg and a pretty 'dandy' ride as well. Miss the auto of the Beemer but other than that, superb little Scorp, well chuffed  Grin Cheesy
